AP Top 25 Podcast: Start the 2021 Season with 5 Games in 5 Days

From Knoxville, Tennessee, to Thalassi, Florida, with stops in Blaxburg, Virginia and Atlanta on the way

On the latest AP Top 25 College Football Podcast, Paul Myerberg of USA Today joins AP’s Ralph Russo to plan a road trip for the opening weekend of the college football season that will include five games over five days.

Optimism is running high about the epidemic being deformed and returning to normalcy after delays in the 2020 season.

This year’s five-day Labor Weekend College Football-Fest is taking shape, with game time being set for some marquee matchups – such as Alabama-Miami in Atlanta on Saturday, September 4.

In addition, Myerberg and Russo respond to listener emails about the impact on the overall health of college football when so few teams can be considered national title contenders.
