In a new video posted to her Instagram account, Hudson can be seen swinging from 20 pounds of water weight hydro core around his head and waist.
“It gives me a whole new meaning to ‘stay focused’ taking it for a ride the first time, certainly not the last ,” Hudson captioned the video.
“I believe it is important to include rotational exercises in all athletic training programs. In other words, working in the transverse plane is essential,” Hudson’s instructor saidBrian Nguyen of his new workout.
“First and foremost, it totally improves the neuromuscular connection between the core and the rest of the body. I mean, check out Kate’s movement in this whirlwind drill while she digs for speed: her core Fighting for more integrity (stability) while her mobile joints (hips and shoulders) seem to unlock more with every turn!” she added. “Furthermore, working out with rotational motion not only prepares us for real-life forces, but also enhances our capacity for greater power and greater explosiveness in one’s range of motion: true athleticism, that is.”
Hudson hasn’t been shy about sharing her workout progress over the past year, posting photos of everything from yoga to weight training sessions to her Instagram.
“I grew up watching my parents take care of my body. People always ask me how I get motivated to stay in shape. The answer is, it’s what I know. That’s how I am.” nurtured. It’s ingrained in my mind that respect and working out our body is a gift and that’s why I don’t take it lightly. I love to move. I love when it’s challenging. I love being in charge of the consequences. And I enjoy watching my daughter do that to me. They watch everything we do! There are some good steps to be taken for the kids,” Hudson said her workout motivation.
