Barbora Krejcikova is back on the court at Roland Garros a day after the marathon win that earned her a place in the French Open final

A day after a marathon victory that secured her a place in the final of the French Open, Barbora Krejcikova is back on the courts of Roland Garros, this time in doubles.
Krejcikova and her fellow Czech teammate Katerina Siniakova are up against Magda Linet of Poland and Bernarda Pera of the United States in the doubles semi-finals.
Krejcikova is bidding to become the first woman since Mary Pierce in 2000 to win a Roland Garros title. The last female Czech to reach the finals of both events in Paris was Lucie Safarova. She did so in 2015 and won the doubles title.
In her fifth appearance in a Grand Slam singles main draw, Krejcikova defeated Maria Sakkari 7–5, 4–6, 9–7 to reach the final by saving a match point.
She is ranked No. 1 and has won a couple of major championships in doubles.
