Defending champions Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic are strong contenders against the unseeded players as they try to progress into the second week of the French Open.
13-time champion Nadal will take on 45th-ranked Cameron Norrie for the third time this year, who has won both his previous matches. Nadal holds a 102-2 record at Roland Garros.
Federer, who had his only title here in 2009, will face Dominic Koefer, and 2016 champion Djokovic will face Ricardas Berankis.
Two All-American matchups highlight the women’s program.
Sofia Kenin is the top seed remaining in the draw at No 4 and faces Jessica Pegula.
Jennifer Brady encounters 17-year-old Coco Gauff.
