LAS VEGAS – Kelsey Plum scored 26 of her 30 points in the second half, Eja Wilson had 21 points and 12 rebounds as the Las Vegas Aces beat the Dallas Wings 85-75 on Monday.
The Aces chased 51-41 in the middle of the third quarter before closing at 20-6 for a 61-57 advantage. Wilson scored a hook shot into the lane, remaining 1:13 in third place since Las Vegas’ first lead, 57–55, 4–2.
Plum made a 3-pointer on back-to-back possession and finished with 5:27 in the fourth to extend the lead to 75-64. Plum finished 9 of 12 off the field, including 5 of 7 from a distance. He also has five assists.
Ricuna Williams added 16 points for Las Vegas (22-8), which was without Liz Cambage. Las Vegas could achieve a double-bye in the playoffs with a win in their last two games.
Eric Ogunbowale scored 16 of 23 in the first half for Dallas (13-18). Elisha Gray added 15 points and Marina Mabrey added 14 points. Dallas was without Sato Sabli (12.4 points per game), Isabel Harrison (10.8) and Moriah Jefferson.
Ogunbowale scored three of Dallas’ five 3-pointers in the first quarter as the Wings took a 29–19 lead.
